BL2 WiFi Direct pairing on iOS

The BL2 hardware allows pairing via WiFi Direct and Bluetooth on iOS devices.

To enable WiFi pairing, follow these steps:

1. Remove the key from your ignition, unplug the BL2 from your diagnostic port, and unpair the BL2 from your device's Bluetooth settings (if applicable).
   
2. On your iOS device, go to Settings and scroll to the bottom where your downloaded apps are displayed.
   
3. Select OTR Diagnostics.
   
4. Change the Adapter Connection setting from Bluetooth to WiFi Direct.
   
5. Turn on WiFi on your device.
   
6. Plug the BL2 directly into your diagnostic port.
   
7. Push and hold the black button for 5 seconds (until the green LED light changes to blue), then release.
   
   • Note: Ensure the LED light is flashing blue. If not, repeat this step.
     
8. Navigate to your WiFi settings and search for a new network. Locate the network named BL2_##### and tap to connect.
   
9. Open the OTR Diagnostics app.
   
10. Select Allow on the prompt: "OTR Diagnostics would like to connect..."
    
    • Note: You may receive a second pairing prompt. Select Pair.
      
11. Once the adapter reaches 100% connection status, you are all set and ready to start saving time and money with OTR Diagnostics!
